Do you ship livestock?
Yes! We offer Canada-wide shipping on most everything in our store. We ship FedEx overnight where available.
How is shipping calculated?
All livestock shipments are flat-rate, based on the delivery address provided at checkout.
Dry good shipments are calculated based on the products weight and delivery address
Can I get free shipping?
Yes! Dry goods orders of $150 or more ship free. Oversize & Heavy items excluded.
Livestock orders qualify for free shipping based on order total before tax and delivery location.

When will my order be shipped?
We ship dry goods Monday - Friday via Canada Post
Livestock orders are shipped Monday - Wednesday. This is because in case of courier delay, your order will not be left at a shipping depot over the weekend.
Can I combine shipping for livestock and dry goods?
It is generally not cost effective to ship dry goods with livestock orders. If you place an order that contains both dry goods and livestock, the shipping costs for both will be combined.
What is your DOA policy?
Since we put so much extra care & time into our fish, we also pack them in larger bags with more oxygen and water than necessary.
In the extremely unlikely event of an animal DOA, we will either replace the animal, less shipping cost, OR issue a store credit for the value of the animal, shipping cost excluded.
For this policy to apply, the following conditions must be met:
- We must be notified within 3 hours of the package being delivered or available for pickup.
- Photos sent of the animal in original, unopened bags. Do not discard the bags until we have contacted you.
The carrier shall be held liable in case of service delay.

Oversize & Heavy Items (ex. Salt Mix)
Special shipping rates apply to all oversized and heavy items. We do not normally ship salt due to high shipping cost. If you would like us to ship you salt, please contact us.

At this time, we only ship within Canada.
